Wedding Experience
I have worked in the wedding industry since the Spring of 2019. I started as an intern with Veil events, quickly became a lead coordinator, and now have years of experience and am even our Office Manager!
Favorite part of wedding day
One of my favorite parts of wedding day is when the couple gets to see the venue all set up and all of their planning and hard work come to life! After months and months of planning, I love the way their faces light up when they see their vision finally come true.
Love for the industry
I love working weddings because although it may be chaotic at times, long days on your feet, and equivalent to herding cats, it is the most rewarding job! At the end of the day, you know that you helped two people and their families on the most important day of their lives and it was as beautiful and perfect as could be. I also love how unique each wedding is to the couple and how you see it come out throughout their day, there is never one wedding quite like another!
Hire Veil Events because…
Someone should hire a day-of coordinator simply to take the stress off of them and the family on the day of. They pour so much time and effort into planning this wedding that they should be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy every moment of the wedding day when it comes. The family doesn’t want to be answering questions, pinning on flowers, and lighting candles, that’s the coordinator’s job!
Wedding day tip
To set yourself up for success with your flower girls and ring bearers, pack some fruit snacks, candy, and their favorite toys to help ease their nerves, this just may be what gets them down the aisle without tantrums and still looking cuter than ever! Nothing works better than a good snack to convince them to participate in family pictures.
