My favorite part of wedding day is definitely the ceremony. It’s honestly the most stressful part of the wedding for any couple, but once the couple says their “I Do’s”, they can finally relax a little knowing that the most important part of the day is over!
Wedding day tip
My favorite wedding day tip is definitely prioritizing that “Just Married’ moment! I feel that over the years this moment is so truly special for all couples as they have just finished saying their “I Do’s” and it’s finally real that they are now married. All the wedding day stress melts away and they are left with this amazing feeling of pure love. That is the feeling that I believe newlyweds should truly hold on to and remember!

Started working as a wedding assistant for “IDo Events” in Anchorage, AK the Summer of 2018. After moving to Kansas City in the fall of 2021, I started working with Veil Events by being a part of the amazing tear down crew as well as assisting weddings, and now being a lead coordinator.

Hiring a day-of-coordinator is a MUST! Even if you’re the DIY bride, finding a professional to take care of your actual day is just absolutely necessary. Yes, you’ve got all the details planned out but when the day finally comes, trust me, you don’t want to be the person running the show nor having any close family members deal with it either. Wedding day can get pretty chaotic if you’re the one getting married. Decorating, timelines, vendors and so much more are the last thing you should be worried about.

I love working weddings because I love knowing that I was a part of someone’s most beautiful and magical day. The wedding planning process itself can be overwhelming to many couples and it makes me feel good to ease their stress. On wedding day itself, it can definitely get hectic but I do secretly enjoy the adrenaline of problem solving and making things all better!
